They should use the male bathroom, all I'll say about it.

It always comes down to that. 

There is a much larger problem with bathrooms than gender. There is a huge population of humans (regardless of gender) that can't leave a bathroom as clean as they found it. We need to create separate bathrooms for THESE PEOPLE first. And then, everyone would be so happy, the GENDER problem won't be such a big deal.

I can't argue with that, this site is really addictive and very diverse. This makes this site one of the most intresting communities I am active in. I would argue this site is more intresting than most of my fellow students. And ofcourse I am cool with you, you make a lot of (intresting) threads which is fundamental for this site and its community. Besides this one of the few sites I can write in English without everyone complaining about my grammar. Even though I got to admit that my English grammar has improved purely due to VGchartz, so it's not a bad thing at all to be addicted to this site, it offers more than it takes.

I live with THREE of them.  My fiance, my daughter, and her daughter.  JESUS CHRIST.  Shampoo bottles, boxes of tampons, and hair spray everywhere.  On every single surface, there's lady products in both bathrooms.  Why any man would CHOOSE to share a bathroom with a woman is beyond me.  And they use up a fucking roll of tissue every time they go in there.  What could they possibly be doing!?!?

Do you think that it would change or improve if things were shared? Hard to believe that people wouldn't be more tidy.

Redesign the public bathroom, so that there are sinks up front, stalls behind them, and a door behind that that hides the urinals area. Shy of a guy blowing up the bathroom with a massive crap, there really is no reason to have different gender bathrooms. I use the same bathroom at home that my wife does, etc. 

The only downside is that women's restrooms, as legend goes, are a million times messier than guys restrooms are.

If the stalls are closed (as in you can't peek in from sides or over the wall or whatever), males (or people who were born males, but don't identify as male) in a female bathroom aren't really an issue. It would be somewhat awkward, but the worst thing that would happen would be that a woman and a man would wash their hands next to eachother. Females in the men's room would be more problematic because you have the urinals which opens up for the somewhat worse situation of seeing other people's genitals.

I too think it's ridiculous.

In general I must say that I find that whole "transgender" movement somewhat, hmmm, "bizarre". I just don't quite get it, I sometimes almost get the impression this whole "transgender thing" is for people who think being homosexual has become too mainstream and accepted these days, so they're looking for new ways to feel individual/special.

By the way, I believe the "Emily"/transvestite-sketches in the comedy show "Little Britain" were absolutely hilarious. They touched the subject of men/transvestites going to the ladies room at least once:
