Not everyone can afford to buy a second console. And a new model will make the value of the older PS4 go down, so even selling your current machine you'd need  a decent chunk of money to get the 4K one.

So what if you are too poor to buy a second console? My being able to purchase a second one that is stronger than the first has no negative affect on your (or even my) gen 1 ps4.

Is this just a simple case of jealousy? How Sony some how screwed you because you don't have the best playstation console anymore?

Depends on the backlash of the different comunities. for shure Nintendo will get the lesser ammount of backlash since:
a) their current console is one year older,
b) despite point a they still have sold the least ammount of consoles so 13M angry people is better than 40M angry people.

Of course there are many other major factor, in example I'm shure that the PS4 userbase is way younger than the other two so most of the PS4 owners due to how the world works as of now with smartphones beeing changed every year might just happen to be ok with another 400$ purchase after 3 years (or less) since they bought their PS4s

I'm pretty sure Nintendo has the biggest percentage of older users of the three home consoles. Kids usually want to buy what's popular, so they have been going to mobile/PS4/XBone. The more niche a console is, the older its audience probably is.

:/ I'm not that shure, I think it sold more amongst Nintendo hardcore fans than Kids while PS4 is really popular among 12-17 FPS/FIFA players.

anyway if WiiU was indeed sold the most among kids it's not like they're gona backlash at Nintendo, they'll just ask their parents for the new thing as always. Maybe the backlash might come from the parents though XD

Microsoft is not getting any love over here in VG.

Almost every poll ive seen lately they end up with a tiny amount of votes, i thought the Nintendo fanbase was smaller over here.

I hope the NX does great and lives to the expectations of everybody.

I also hope that the PS4K and X1.5 just end up as some silly rumors.

Nintendo is done and Xbox is practically done. Sony win.

I wander who will replace Xbox in the console market and how next generation will be.

Ps4 still wins but Nintendo and MS trade places.
