Forums - General Discussion - Panama leaks - shit about to hit the fan?!

Nice, every "tax evasion" issues have to come to light. Though being those personalities, I don't think they will be punished enough. They'll claim ignorance and that's it.

Wonder if David Cameron is going to go after fellow Tories and other MPs or just let it slide.

I can't imagine anything worse than a slap on the wrist for anyone...
If this gets any attention from US media, they'll immediately sensationalize a police officer or politician using a racial slur and people will immediately forget about this in the rush to proclaim how not racist they are (as opposed to actually addressing racial inequality, but I suppose that's topic for another thread)...

Have a nice day...

Apparently Putin isn't directly involved, people close to him are instead.

Jackie Chan is on the list. omg-megaton.

My question is whether any of the current US Presidential candidates are on there. Clintons are shady as fuck, and Trump has enough money that doing things like this would make financial sense.

Saw this trending last night on Twitter, and after looking for more info on it, I was quite surprised to see some recognizable people and relatives of famous people in there. It's going to be interesting to see how this will unveil on the next few days.

2.6 TB's of data... in documents! Can't wait to see how they'll cover this one up.

If such data is being leaked, it should simultaneously be leaked to the public as well, not just to a few selected newspapers.

Because newspapers tend to be biased/not neutral when it comes to selecting which information they publish and which they don't.

In further news: personal information about approx. 50 million ordinary turkish citizens has just been leaked to the public as well

Damn, shame to see hard working people like Jackie Chan and Amithabh Bacchan on this list. These guys are huge and have worked hard for their wealth. .

Its pathetic for politicians to dodge tax etc.

O_o, jackie is going to be in trouble with the Chinese leadership. After his son's legal troubles, a simple excuse might not work well.
