Maybe but if it comes it will come after the PS4/3DS versions. This is what Square Enix said.

That way they'll get some 3DS owners double dipping.  It makes the most sense financially.

I think that people who want to buy DQXI will do it on the first days for PS4 or 3DS. No point really waiting for a port. The game will be huge in Japan and of course Sony will advertise it as the ''game changer'' for PS4 in Japan.

Western sales of this game will be good on PS4. People will love the cel shaded graphics.

As long as there is a decent marketing campaing and a good release window, it will do good. DQ Heroes had neither of those.

I think 3DS version of DQXI will come out first, then PS4/NX versions will release after that.

Probably you missed it but the producer said that the PS4 and 3DS versions will come out the same day.

I don't see it happening. It doesn't really make a lot of sense financially either, it would be better to space them out.

See Ni No Kuni. That's a terrible idea.

So basically, you know better than Square Enix/ the producer? Seriously?

And it makes perfect sense to release them on same day financially because it means more money.

LOL what are you even saying?

Probably, it's what SE saw and decided to release both versions on day 1.

It doesn't mean more money, it means more likely that people will choose one version over the other. If you space them out, more likely people will buy both.

Ni No Kuni on DS is not a great example it was never going to sell a lot, DQXI on 3DS can sell 3-4 million copies alone.
