I hope Sony ignores this petition like it deserves to be.

Thousands of women are raped and sexually harrassed everyday and you suggest that Sony should "ignore" it?

I'm glad that this case is getting the attention it deserves, nobody should ever have to go through this

PS:

what is sony supposed to do here? overrule the verdict and say the man is guilty?

Hunting Season is done...

Just a depressing situation to read about in general, hope it gets resolved soon.

Although to be honest I've enjoyed not having to hear any new Kesha songs in the past few years. That's been nice.

The thing is tho, she lied either way, if she was raped, then she lied under oath which is a felony and if she wasn't raped then she lied when she made the accusation, the only thing I'm saying is that I would like to see a justice system where there was just as much a punishment for the second one as there is the first, when you see what that sort of claim does to people's careers now it's sick how it can destroy an innocent person.

Like... either way you look at it, the only person you know for sure is lying... is Kedollarha

We all would like a justice sysem to be fair on both accounts. The problem here is just because she lied under oath doesnt mean she wasnt raped. She could have been paid to lie, we just dont know. Cases have been found many times where things like this come out years later and the truth come out where the victim was actually right. Kedollarha seems like she lied but the truth remains to be seen. Like i said before, We wont know and if it wasnt a big deal then she and 1/4 of a million people wouldnt be signing petitions. There a reason for this.

You do realize that there's idiots out there, right? Quarter of a million sign a petition to boycott. I'm sure they are the fans of kesha.

There's no actual evidence to support her claim and her word is worthless because she lied in court.

Jesus I just went to take a read there on the crime of lying under oath, the thing is if you lie under oath about a fact which doesn't effect the outcome there is pretty much no crime commited, so if someone asks you the colour of the car someone was driving and you say it was green (but it was blue) and then if you seen the car driving over old ladies (which it did) the outcome isn't effected in the slightest by the lie and no crime is commited.

In her case though the lie completely decided the outcome of the court and in the States it's punishable by up to 5 years in Jail, could be worse for her... the Canadian neighbours give up to 14 years for it and in Nigeria depending on the case it's either life imprisonment or the death penalty (just taking a look over the other countries laws for fun because I'm a wiki addict!) So yeah the position she's in right now is between a rock and a hard place because she is going to have to go back on a lie one way or the other and really people shouldn't forget that while Ke€ha had a lot of money a few years ago, she now is basically completely broke with the exception of the $350k donated by Lady GaGa towards her legal fees she can't really spend much more time in courts making noise about this, especially not if she knows it isn't true because she will just be putting herself in debt.

Nigeria doesn't play.

It will be interesting to see what she does.

Indeed, you lie you die, reading about their laws on somethings makes me happy to live in Ireland, I mean... I've never broken the law but still just happy that if I did get involved with something daft that I wouldn't be shot for it.

What I find stupid is that people sign for this as if it was a real problem, and don´t care at all about other things that really matter.
Kesha might have been raped? Well, don´t get me wrong, I don´t think being raped is a good thing of course not! But come on, the woman has so much money she could hire a lawyer to put Dr Luke in jail for a lifetime (if the raping is proved to be true of course), or she could have the best therapist in the world to ease her pain.

Why is more important a rich woman that was raped than the million of people that die every year of hunger? Or because there are countries invading other countries for oil and natural resources? Or people killing other people "in the name of god"?(their god anyway).
Or are we even that worried about how we are treating Earth? There are hundreds of new endangered species because of our fault, the Amazon is being cut down and people in charge are letting that happen, the poles are melting because we cause so much pollution that we are killing everything in the world, and that seems to be nothing, but a famous person might have been raped and all hell breaks loose.

Why don´t we care so much about the thousand of anonymous people that are raped every year?

I just don´t understand our society, we care about celebrities but we don´t give a shit about PEOPLE.
I can´t stand this hypocritical society.

You're on a gaming forum where people have heated debates over how many people have bought a console/video game. I don't think you are in a postition to dictate what is/isn't a genuine issue.

You're missing the point, and that's an argumentative fallacy. It's like saying, why should anyone care that you got robbed and stabbed when the Amazon rainforest is being slashed and burned? Or why does it matter if you're house burned down when wooly mammoths were allowed to go extinct? In order to have a valid argument, you have to stay on point.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Yeah, so? People can debate about everything. Having heated debates over a hobby is harmless.

And of course I´m in no position as to dictate anything, any of what I said seems like I was doing that? I was just expressing my opinion, I´m not trying to convince anyone about anything.

We could have a heated debate about what I said and how wrong you think I am, and I would respect your opinion and hoped that you respected mine as well, even if I think differently from you, but you wouldn´t sign a petition to boycott me, right? or would you ¬¬

Please, explain to me why your opinion is more valid than mine, and why mine is just a fallacy, when I just shared my opinions on the subject

Of course things matter Jumpin. Everything matters, at least to every individual. If your house burned down it would matter to you, to your family and your friends etc. But people who don´t know you, wouldn´t care that much. What I mean is that we live in a society that "cares" more about celebrities that they don´t even know, than for their neighbours, people who they see on a daily basis. It would be easier for a lot of people to sign a petition about that than sign something that may have an impact in their lives (and before anyone says that, no, signing for that petition won´t stop raping in the world).

In all of your comparisons you ask me, who I´m a nobody. Nothing would mind in that case. But if I was famous?

Wow! Look, poor Kennel´s house has burnt down! Let´s sign a petition to buy him an entrance mat (that way we will demonstrate to the world how much we care about this, meaning that we are very nice people! And it will only takes us 5 seconds to sign that petition! Wow! I´m such a good person! Yeah, I deserve a cookie).

#Kennelhouseonfire #savekennelfromthefire #soskennel #entrancematforkennel

My complaint was about how hypocritical the society is, and maybe I didn´t explain myself that well, sorry about that!

And just to finish, Jumpin: Wooly mammoths 123400000-8854 bC Never forget!! (I just loved your example of the mammoths hahaha).
