Yeah, so? People can debate about everything. Having heated debates over a hobby is harmless.
And of course I´m in no position as to dictate anything, any of what I said seems like I was doing that? I was just expressing my opinion, I´m not trying to convince anyone about anything.
We could have a heated debate about what I said and how wrong you think I am, and I would respect your opinion and hoped that you respected mine as well, even if I think differently from you, but you wouldn´t sign a petition to boycott me, right? or would you ¬¬

Please, explain to me why your opinion is more valid than mine, and why mine is just a fallacy, when I just shared my opinions on the subject 
Of course things matter Jumpin. Everything matters, at least to every individual. If your house burned down it would matter to you, to your family and your friends etc. But people who don´t know you, wouldn´t care that much. What I mean is that we live in a society that "cares" more about celebrities that they don´t even know, than for their neighbours, people who they see on a daily basis. It would be easier for a lot of people to sign a petition about that than sign something that may have an impact in their lives (and before anyone says that, no, signing for that petition won´t stop raping in the world).
In all of your comparisons you ask me, who I´m a nobody. Nothing would mind in that case. But if I was famous?
Wow! Look, poor Kennel´s house has burnt down! Let´s sign a petition to buy him an entrance mat (that way we will demonstrate to the world how much we care about this, meaning that we are very nice people! And it will only takes us 5 seconds to sign that petition! Wow! I´m such a good person! Yeah, I deserve a cookie).
