So SuperMetalDave has been right tons of times and he has heard something new, however he said this is from someone that isn't the same amount of trustworthy as the other devs he has talked too, however the guy who told him this info has gotten info right before.

It would depend on what way the system would be more powerful, knowing Nintendos shoot themselves in the foot history, it could be more powerful like the N64 was x3 the processing power of the PSone... but was carts instead of cheap cds. Or how the GC could piss all over the PS2's graphical power... if only it wasn't for compressing the shit out of the textures to fit them onto the 1.5gb disks.

Also, it isn't even known yet what type of console the NX is or if it is a console and not some sort of cloud processing streaming service, which... if it was, I would hope that their server farms were more powerful than a PS4.

I like that guy.  Just says his stuff and doesn't try to manufacture some stupid wacky personality for clicks.  As for the rumor, I think it's true.  Hell, I thought that KH3, FFXV and FFVII:R (when Sony's timed exclusivity deal runs out) were all going to come to the NX once Square Enix accidently dropped that news about Dragon Quest XI coming to the NX.  I'd be more surprised if they aren't ported at this point.

They even just said "get to experience it first" on the playstation 4, that could very well be a beta program or a pre release demo before a multiplatform launch on the same date.

That said in terms of consoles regardless of it coming to both systems I would imagine that SE would put more time and effort into making sure the PS4 version of the game utilizes every drop of power going to it, which could mean a slightly less loved X1 port of it, so the PS4 would still be the place to play it, regardless of launch dates.

Unless by some miracle this rumour is true and the NX pisses all over the PS4 and X1 digital foundry Battles for 180 rows of pixels and is some super powered 4k beast console. (if it is, I will offer to print out this post when it happens, and eat it, just saying)

I honestly think this has a chance to be true only because games like FFXV and VIIIR sell in not only the West but in Japan as well. And as we have seen with DQ XI getting a 3DS version, SE wants to get their games in as many Japanese hands as possible.
