Wait a second.... Aren't you the exact user that was complaining a few months ago about a game being too hard? Wasn't it donkey kong tropical freeze? I remember that thread. This is a duplicate Op but with a different game, same complaints

Xenoblade Chronicles X is too confusing.

Majora's Mask 3D is really difficult.

Borderlands 2 is too damn hard.

Videogames SHOULD NOT be difficult.

OP does not have a lot of luck with videogames.

I am a hunchback no more. Thanks for the clarity

Yeah, its crap. But Uncharted 2 is much better. Uncharted 3 was a let down though.

Uncharted 1 is a mediocre game, I dont think the remaster fixed that.

My biggest gripes with the series has been bullet sponge enemies, lots of enemies likely done to make game longer, and uninteresting level design (doesent encourage exploration).

While 2 and 3 are hands down better games, dont buy the hype. That series is not as good as the interweb claims. I'm looking forward to Unchated 4 but hope it feels fresh compared to previous games. Frankly, I hope Naughty Dog is taking notes from Tomb Raider.

Uncharted is actually considered to be a very easy game/franchise. If you're a new comer to the series maybe you should lower the difficulty? The NDC has a new one below easy called explorer mode. Maybe try that one?

The original Uncharted is actually pretty difficult in normal difficulty. The shitty check points and boring gameplay doesent help.

Mediocre? No. Not as well rounded as its sequels? Agreed, despite my favoritism to it.

Nah, I'm comfortable saying its a mediocre game. Its tough to recommend. I feel bad for people wanting to play every game in the series because that game is a slog.

I played Uncharted 2 first, man, that game is masterpiece along with Uncharted 3, they're easy, just aim for heads.

Also i didn't like Uncharted 1.... Feels slow.

Drake's Fortune is quite a messy game. Uncharted 2 and 3 are far better.

A lot of people say that Uncharted 2 is the best, but frankly Uncharted 3 surpasses Uncharted 2 on every point: Story, gameplay, story, dialogues, cutscenes, graphics.

Uncharted 2 was quite a milestone though, the gap in quality was far bigger between U1 and U2. But the story wasn't really interesting.

All in all, Uncharted is a good series, but for me the gameplay is not "tight" enough, but it's a recurrent problem with Sony games, I think Microsoft and even more Nintendo games have more precise gameplay.

Bold 2: Please no...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Uncharted 3 has problems with pacing (the first few chapters and that awful walk through the desert), on the gameplay front they force you to use the subpar melee combat way too often and the final boss is a series of QTE, the set pieces are really interesting but I still prefer Tibet over the desert and Shambhala is much better than Ubar. I'll say that the sinking boat was totally awesome though!

Are you enjoying your crushing playrhrough?  Personally I'd do it on hard first time around and crushing the second although I'd only die like 10 times on crushing.

I'd love to see this guys reaction if he tried brutal but alas I fear Explorer difficulty is for him!

I couldn't get myself to play through it twice with an increase in diff, considering I still have the other two games to beat as well. Based on my tlou experience I igured a high diff would burn me out.

Well you're 35% complete so obviously you're making progress it's just your death count is super high.  Would you not enjoy it more on hard?  It's still a challenge and you will still die but I think it's crazy playing uncharted 1 on crushing the first time.  I guarantee you'll enjoy it on hard more.

I understand you think you'll get burnt out but you can always come back in a year or so and so a crushing playrhrough when you feel fresh again.

I platinumed uncharted 1&2 but I'm not going to play uncharted 3 until the summer.  no point over doing a game series
