The whole world is not looking at Sweden right now, maybe some of the far right elements in other countries. Screening is a degrading and racist process where the state make the assumption that people are inherently bad. What we do have is our national security police, the regular police force ad special task forces that has the job of identifying elements that threaten our society. And as we have seen through the year, that threat is far more common from far right racist groups than far right muslim radicals.

We have a very good example of how we cannot judge a people by a few individuals actions. Five years ago, a man named Anders Behring Breivik murdered 77 teenagers and camp leader at a youth camp on an Island in Norway. He was a man born of two norwegian citizens, a christian and nationalist. He took upon himself to have is own religous crusade against society and murder innocent people. We don´t judge all christians based on this and conduct screening of christian immigrants. We treat him as a terrorist just like a muslim extremist and put our efforts at stopping these peoplöe before they commit their acts, no matter what religion or ideology they cling to.

These discussions always remind me of the ending of "The New Colossus" a poem that is written at the base of the statue of libery:

If there was a system that forced immigrants to spread out and to actually take care of themselves COMBINED WITH efforts to allow them to be able to do that (I don't think its possible right now. Our infrastructure cannot handle it, and money is burned on bullshit all over the country), I'm confident that we'd have more or less zero issues right now.

What is actually happening though is that we are creating mini-versions of the immigrants' countries inside of Sweden. Integration is a fantasy.

I really don't see how this makes the regular Swede stupid though. All parties apart from SD are saying the same things (lies) and SD is being bullied out of everything. Is SD our saviour? We do so many good things in Sweden. We compete (and win) in all sorts of things, we're really good in tech and medical science. Its still very difficult for me to take pride in my own country. And yet they say our polititians are amazing compared to the corrupt shit out in the world. Really? I don't believe it at all...

Spreading out the immigrantis is the solution. But you're misguided if you think SD would help with that. They are the driving factor behind pushing the communes' rights to refuse immigrants, thus forcing them to concentrate in the places that accept them. They're the problem not the solution.

Completely agree. I think we have a situation where every political party at the moment do not know how they are going to approach the immigration situation. And i would bet that the solutions SD are proposing are the most costly for society and for individuals rights.
