Not really, it's easier now than ever to find the games you like and avoid all the stinkers so overall things have been fairly good for me.

I also want to point out that the percentage of people who aren't disappointed with the generation is strangely close to the percentage of PS4's market share. Just saying.

Was that really necessary? That only PS gamers are happy, and that everyone with Nintendo isn't?

This gen, the only game I'd consider a true classic would be The Witcher 3!

And excuse me? Bloodborne rocks Witcher 3's socks.

its better than last gen

Handheld-wise, absolutely not. The 3DS has more than surpassed all of my expectations, it has been absolutely fantastic. FE: Awakening and Fates, ORAS, Phoenix Wright 5, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Kart 7, SM3DL, SSB3DS, there is a huge list of classics that I've poured hundreds of hours into. The only thing I'm not looking forward to NX because of is that I'll likely not have as much time on my 3DS after it releases.

Home console-wise? Yes. Wii U has disappointed me hugely. Pikmin 3 was great, Bayonetta 2 was great. Apart from them, none of the games I played were great, there were plenty of good ones, sure, but nothing that makes me want to go back and play them again. After the Wii and the GC before it having so many classics for me, the Wii U has sadly been Nintendo's first miss imo. Very hopeful that the NX will turn fortunes around though.

I'm sorry if my opinion isn't the same as yours, but I didn't enjoy Bloodborne. I felt it was too similar to dark souls, which is way too hard (I got 1/2 way through, than called it quits...), and just isn't my kind of style. Either way, not a classic. MGS V could be added to the list, but I have to wait to play it.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Yes and no. I really like my Vita and it's library with tons of RPGs and I'm playing it every day while PS4 is mostly collecting dust as there are only a few RPGs worth playing on it.

Very good so far. Will be excellent after April when I get games like Dark Souls III and Uncharted 4. Might even be the best after we get games like FF 15, Persona 5 and The Last Guardian.

At this stage of its life this generation is far superior in terms of games that appeal to me.

This generation has been fine overall. Nothing special but it should pick up starting this year
