Apple moved away from the "i" branding.

Apple Watch, Apple TV, Apple Car, Apple House, etc

and I'd like to add; just because tech giants are interested in VR doesn't mean the tech is going to explode and become the next hot thing.

I still remember when everyone and their mother wanted to make a tablet because it sounded like the next iPhone, including MS, which tweaked (and possibly butchered?) the Windows user interface just to make it tablet friendly.

Yet here we are, witnessing the rise and fall of the tablets thanks to Samsung normalizing huge smartphones. So who knows!

You might want to check out the sales of the surface in the next Ms figures next week.

i really hope the surface did/does well. The pro3 is probably one of the best investments i've made in regards to electronics. It has completely replaced my laptop and i've not touched the ipad since i got the surface.

Its an awesome piece of hardware.

It will probably be called iSee. I can picture the ads with KT Tunstall's Suddenly I See.

This just confirms that VR is going to be successful. To many companies pumping big money into it for it to fail. Some people are underestimating how big it's going to be.

"Asked about virtual reality on today's investor call, Cook sounded bullish. "In terms of VR, um, uh, no I don’t think it’s a niche. I think it can be, it's really cool, and has some interesting applications."

They are so in.

If there was any doubt that VR will succeed, all one needs is Apple.

I'm sure there are many others on here, in the same position as i am. I'm also sure that there are many others from the opposite side, whom will just use VR on their PC, and aren't even considering PSVR.

Well yeah of course there will be for both sides. I even knew about Samsung VR at least a eyar and a half ago but I;m not claiming early into the game that my fave VR is going to stomp all.
