That's a common misconception. Makes sense when you spend a lot of time on forums, but most gamers don't and the vocal minority online does not always represent them. Just a few months ago a Yu-Gi-Oh! game on ps4 was one of best selling games of the month on ps4. And that was still a Konami game.

I may not like Konami, but nothing will stop me from buying a game I like just because of the company. I believe that most gamers simply don't give a damn. Look how well "evil" EA and Activision are still doing.

That would be a bad strategy for M$ if it decides to go for it, because everyone is hating konami as of right now and the near future, so, very few would be interested in buying something from them, let alone it will be only in Xbone

1. No, it's not really needed.

2. No, it wouldn't really be good business for MS.

3. Yes, it would further ostracize FucKonami. Though really, there's little they could do now to avoid that.

Zipping through the numbers, I noticed that new IPs seem to be doing nice in the XONE... Rather than an exclusive MGS, it'd be better to ask Konami to create a new IP...

No, Microsoft needs to buy out the Titan Fall ip imo. That and buy AMD like they rumor to so they can have a more affordable system with a great new franchise.

Its business, anything is possible. Maybe the next Silent Hills game might be exclusive to X1. Who knows. Kojima vs Komani is just another poor debate. If you game on PC then you get the best of both worlds.
