You never know, but critically speaking I think Zelda will surpass it. Will it be a better game though??I That's always up to the player to decide.

Not a chance in hell . Zelda wins hands down

- Doesn't have much competition on the launch games

It is kind of sad that just because something is called Zelda it's an auto GOTY.....

I'm a huge banjo kazooie fan, and I'm not claiming yooka laylee is going to be as good as BK automatically because it is it's spiritual successor

Horizon is going to sell 3 million by the end of March maybe 4 or 5 by the end of March.... Expect a monster , this is the best ps4 game to release since UNCHARTED 4 and the Witcher :)

Well first of all a proper sequel and a spirtual successor are much different and by no means is an instant 10 out of 10 (cough mighty number 9), the spirtual successor has no history meaning we have nothing to expect on how good the game is capable of being.

Second there is a reason why Zelda is expected to be GOTY, it's got a long history that has made it one of the most highly rated series of all time. It's by no means auto GOTY, but it's certainly a series that has proved it's capablities, and has some of the best games of all time, why shouldn't the next entry not be expected to withhold the standard it has rightfully earned. If it doesn't live up to that pedestal (which is hardly likely since it's coming from some of the most talented and successful game developers in the world) then it will surely be noted.

If you had more than 12 posts you'd be in my signature of bad predictions. Horizon will easily sell more than 3 million, and you won't have to wait that long for that to become very apparent.

Zelda has earned that right. It has proven again and again that it is a contender.

Just as when the next Uncharted or The Last of Us gets released, it will be a GOTY. Zelda isn't some special game alone. There are many other games that have a proven track record that to not consider their next iteratin to a GOTY contender, then you are being biased.

My predictions sometimes gets robbed as they are on the fence.

Eh..... Many people have liked the Zelda Games. Their metacritic scores proves that.
