MS should just let Nintendo run their game division with input from MS, Phil Harrison should take over NOA, Nintendo and MS' staff in Redmond Washington should team up and work together. NX should run Windows OS with MS helping Nintendo with marketing costs. 

I wouldn't mind that one bit.

Well, no shit, sherlock! Nintendo and Microsoft don't have too good relations though. I doubt it'll ever happen, even if Nintendo gives up hardware. Ok, they ain't too close with Sony, either... Maybe they'll just do something with Apple and screw both Microsoft and Sony! Hell if I know. Let's just hope NX will be successful so we won't have to think about such scenarios.

Of course they can, it's globalization! 

It's not that simple for a foreign company, they cannot by law buy out a Japanese company. But there are loopholes that a company can use, such as mergers or acquisitions.
