Forums - Gaming Discussion - Cyberpunk 2077 is 'even more ambitious than we planned' - CD Projekt Red

During an interview with Polish TV station TVN24 BiS, CD Projekt Red's CEO Adam Kicinski said:

"The project is even more ambitious than we first planned (...) we need to create a game that will be even more successful. (...) We have a long way ahead of us to reach the biggest commercial successes in the world. Sure, many people consider The Witcher 3 to be the best game in the world this year, but this is not a game that broke any sales record"

This is my most anticipated title! I can't wait to see what CD Projekt Red is capable of, Witcher 3 was already impressive!

CD Projekt Red said the following about the Witcher series:

Kicinski said that the team isn't leaving The Witcher behind, where he added: "It's too early to talk about it, but it's not like we're forgetting about this brand - that's understandable. (...) It wouldn't be fair towards the fans. We work within this universe for over a dozen years now and I don't think it's going to be the end of it".

My bet is a gameplay reveal at MS E3 2016.

Your getting me excited for MS E3!

Hopefully there won't be heavily defined main character like Geralt, I prefer to see more of a 'create your own hero' approach to give it more choices and replayability.

Something makes mi think they will ditch the ms deal.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a game I'm very interested in part because it's a radical departure from the settings of The Witcher saga. I hope they can pull it off.

But, hearing them talk more about salese than quality makes me worry a little bit. They should keep going the quality route and sales will follow. Besides, it's not lik The Witcher 3 sold poorly.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
