Unlikely, Sony lost billions selling each PS3 at a $300 loss and MS had to spend more than $1 billion on the RROD fiasco. Xbox has lost billions from what i read, shareholders have wanted MS to drop it several times, however, the Xbox is tied into their gaming segment, so it looks like it make money.

I would hope so. Selling 80+ million of anything should net you a nice sized profit at the end of the day.

I don't doubt the 360 being profitable, most likely due to Gold subscriptions (which was a brilliant move, no wonder Sony followed suit this gen). The PS3 though? Lol no. Sony lost billions on it (though most of that was in the first two years).
