But I had a great time with X-Com on PS3, the game consumed me! And I'm sure X-Com 2 won't run on my MacBook with shitty Iris graphics and I'm sure as hell not buying a whole new PC just for one game. So, please? For me?

I mean I would also be totally ok with the game coming first to PC and then a port afterwards for PS4 that gets "dumbed down" as you like to say. I really don't want the PC version to change or anything. I just want it on my PS4, goddamnit! ^^

That and this time they promised a PC specific UI along with full mod support to boot, the game definitely doesn't ened to be dumbed down and in the end if we look at Firaxis's history they are 95% PC devs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firaxis_Games . Also last gens combined userbase didn't really sell enough compared to PC so I'm guessing that also played a part.

Afaik they haven't released the specs yet but I'd imagine it being suited for min being 6-700 series and reco being mid 700-970 series. Probably an i5 requirement and possibly an i7 thrown in for reco but i5's will do just dandy and 8gb ram being the general.

For those with AMD cards that would be something like a 7870 as min and a 290/390 as recommended.

Don't ask me why, but I think the min. req will be a little lower than that, Nvidia's 5x0 and AMD's 6x00 series.

I imagine it will but still hope it reaches consoles soon after release. Nothing against the PC crowd, mainly a PS4 gamer

That's pretty much what made me move fully back in 2012, for years I thought it would always be just a game or two but now I've got more games on PC than I would on the different gens I once owned. That and putting a rig together is basically like adult Lego.

Yeah, well, there's no way in hell I'll ever go back to Windows. Maybe I'll get a steam machine once those things support more games. Or maybe I'll get an iMac or a Mac Pro next year. But not a PC, I've had enough of those.
