Interesting concept?

Business model bound to fail?

This must be a joke for a fake game?

What do you think?

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Maybe the dumbest idea for a game I've ever seen. Especially since it's not free.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

"You got shot - delete the game. No microtransactions. The end."

ROFL

Worst of all the game looks like any ordinary multiplayer FPS where newbies die every ten seconds. The only way to survive is to be the only one stupid enough to buy the game in the first place.

if its free then sure but if you have to pay for it then this is probably the dumbest model of any game ever.

So they took hardcore mode and are trying to make it the only option in the game? Wow, this is a horrible idea. If it was free, fine, but to pay for it? No.

I've already done this with Minecraft and Starbound, and I still have the game : P

It isn't just roguelike. That would be bearable, as even if you didn't keep any progress, you could keep playing the game. Instead this is only a single life. That's it. Die and you can no longer even play the game. It is something beyond roguelike into the realm of "why in the fuck would I ever buy that".

This is an awful, awful idea. If it at least came with retries, building up from scratch, okay, but it would only take one unlucky moment to completely screw you over. Yeah, no thanks. Hard pass. Even for those seeking a difficult game, this is the equivalent of jumping the shark in terms of difficulty.

Or He Procrascinates, In Which Case Zanten, Doer Of The Things Later

Or It Involves Moving Furniture, in Which Case Zanten, F*** You.

Interesting idea, though I would never get into this type of game as it would be totally unworth it to buy the game and get only a few minutes and die.

Everything in the trailer seemed okay until 0:40 mark, where I really dislike.. it especially with their catch phrase 'the line between game and reality is blurred' :/

Wait a damn second, if you die, then the game presumably locks off the account you bought. But is there anything to prevent you from just buying the game AGAIN?

Cause, I dunno, the cynic in me might wonder if they actually think they can sustain their business model by finding a group of people willing to just buy the game over and over again because of 'ze thrill.' o_O Which is horrid! It's not even a microtransaction, it's a repeating freaking transaction.
