Well, they're not going to drop the price of the $450 bundles by $100.
Every bundle seems to have dropped by $50, except the COD bundle, which dropped by $20. Seems to be because it's 1TB.

Well, you got me there... A 100 price drop would be insane. Are the 450 bundles the 1tb, or are then both the tb, special skin, and multiple games?

The Star Wars Limited Edition bundle for example is not 1TB, but originally cost $450, because it has a special edition console and controller design.
The only 1TB bundle right now is the COD bundle, it seems. Though you could question why the Star Wars LE bundle and the COD LE bundle were both priced the same when one is 500GB and the other is 1TB. They both have a spcial console and controller design.

Doesn't the Starwars bundle come with 4 or 5 games? That seems fair, I guess. I dunno, too many sony bundles to follow, haha...

Yeah, some classic games. But a special console and controller design tends to bump the price by $50 alone, like the Batman LE bundle, so I'm not finding that strange.
What I am wondering is why the COD bundle wasn't originally priced at $500, since it has the special designs and a 1TB HDD.
I'm guessing Sony didn't want to sell the COD bundle for as much as $500, so they decided to sell it for $50 less, before this price cut. That could explain why they only dropped it by an additional $20 now.

Yeah. And Microsoft went a step beyond that and released their 1TB LE Halo 5 bundle for $500.
That's $150 extra, since XBO was already at $350.
But they added some extra stuff like a figure, steelcase, and some paper sheets.

Now that just sounds crazy... u_u I don't think those extras can justify that...

I need ps4 to be 299!!! for me to consider it as my 4th console!!!

I got x1, r9 390 gaming comp and wii U. But 429 is a bit much for something i'll hardly use. will the last of us ever come to steam?? that would save me tons of cash!

No - TLOU will never come to steam. You can however, buy a PSTV, or a 2015/2016 Samsung/Sony TV and PS Now it.

Its VERY likely that flagship sony PS4 games will be launching on PS Now within the next year. My honest guess is that they'll phase out the PS3 versions of games and replace them with the PS4 over time.

In future when users are demonstrating clear signs of "sour grapes" in threads, please refrain from responding to them as it just escalates the issue.

I'll be taking a firm stance with users demonstrating such attitudes when they have been around long enough to know better.

Just keep an eye on temporary deals this holiday. PS4 was laready 299 on Amazon.de earlier this week, and that was a 1tb model actually.
