Wait... Weren't there Splatoon hack leaks a few weeks ago that got the person who did them's Splatoon file wiped? That leak was of huge caliber, what with the playable Octoling fully functional and all that. That might be what all of this is about. This Roger guy seems to be a Splatoon guy too.
bet: lost

My thoughts exactly. I'm pretty sure Nintendo will push the Directs as a means to aquire all News Nintendo that they want to deliver 'directly' *makes ominous hand movements* to the userbase and fans.
There is also a lot stuff to cover in a new Direct: First DeNA game, New Account System, New footage for a lot of games (SMTxFE, Pokken, Starfox and Zelda being the most obvious), new game and project announcements, release dates, Nindies, something about their new boss (and possibly a rememberence to Iwata while we're at it), Bundles (and possibly a price cut)...
Idoubt however anything about NX, as they specifically said more news only next year.
I hope that's true. I've been craving some Ninten news for awhile. I hope some good new things are coming soon x )
Dance my pretties!

Probably a DeNA Direct.
I wouldn't be surprised if there were localizations for select 3DS titles announced, though. Rhythm Heaven: The Best+ is long overdue!
I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
:3
Probably their mobile game since they've already said no NX talk this year.

That's a 2 on hype scale.
Mario Tennis is also delayed to 2016, the new Wii U holiday game is Devil's Third.
