Wow PS4 is totally taking over the Amazon best sellers. Been at work and haven't had time to check in but wow.

What's even worse is none of the bundles Microsoft announced last week are in the top 100.

I expect Microsoft to react soon, possibly with something like

"well it's that time of year again and to celebrate the holidays, all Xbox bundles are receiving a limited time promotion. "

I can definitely see this happening soon in reaction to Sony's price cut.

The PS4 was outselling the XB1 even at $50 more so MS would have to lose a stack of money to undercut Sony's success. And remember, Spencer has just said his priority is making XB1 profitable.

That's very true, but Microsoft also hates to lose, especially the holidays. We also remember the previous things Microsoft have said and later went back on, such as Kinect and drm. So further price cutting probably isn't out of the question this holiday.

Probably not quite the extreme last year, but with the way ps4 sales are drastically picking up, it's hard to predict how far they'll (microsoft) go.

I could definitely see a halo 5 bundle with the mcc thrown in for free along with a year of xbl for $329.

Cause lets face it, they're going up against a price cut, COD and star wars bundles.

I know this is the Amazon thread, but I took these pictures while I was in BB today to buy UTNDC and this is before the price cut will officially have its impact. The last time I seen a few PS4s and several X1's in stock the PS4 sold more and it was the case when Titanfall released.I know it's not Halo and the Halo 5 bundle is not out yet,but MS might now being able to catch up to what Sony will sell by the time the Halo 5 bundle and Halo releases.

Totally forgot to tag. This is THE month folks! The month we've been waiting for.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Those Xbox One Bundles look unappealing and ugly and lazy as f***.

I don't think this gen will ever be profitable for Xbox. The revenue has been burning down like crazy. They've put themselves in a position where they have no choice but to be cheaper than the competition every holiday to get any gains.

I can't remember ever seeing anything similar. MS needs to respond to this.

Well this is an interesting parallel to last year. Last year, Nintendo had a big opening. Hey had the exclusives, they had positivity, and several of the most hyped third party juggernauts underwhelmed. All they had to do was play their cards right and they could have had a great holiday. Unfortunately they did piss all and suffered the consequences. And this year, MS looked like it had a huge opening. Uncharted, No Man's Sky, Zelda, Star Fox, all delayed out of he year. MS was the only of the big three with a juggernaut in the fight. All they had to do, we thought, was play their cards right and bam, amazing holiday. But unlike last year where Nintendo did nothing and thus suffered, MS has done everything *but* a price cut - aggressive marketing, numerous bundles, free games, the works - and still can't catch a break. Makes me think we may have crossed a tipping point where PlayStation is just going to continue to consume MS's market share by ever greater amounts, leading to a sixth gen rerun. I could see it. Halo and Gears can't carry Xbox alone and so far the other exclusives haven't done much to grab attention. Last gen they had the third party marketing, timed exclusive DLC, and third party bundles. But Sony is quickly and systematically disassembling that stronghold. This year it was CoD and Assassin's Creed, Batman, Battlefront, and Metal Gear. The only powerful one they have left is their Bethesda relationship and you know Sony is eyeing that. So yeah, I think this is only going to get worse.

I don't think they really stop the PS4 from selling.
