I expect Microsoft to react soon, possibly with something like

"well it's that time of year again and to celebrate the holidays, all Xbox bundles are receiving a limited time promotion. "

I can definitely see this happening soon in reaction to Sony's price cut.

The PS4 was outselling the XB1 even at $50 more so MS would have to lose a stack of money to undercut Sony's success. And remember, Spencer has just said his priority is making XB1 profitable.

That's very true, but Microsoft also hates to lose, especially the holidays. We also remember the previous things Microsoft have said and later went back on, such as Kinect and drm. So further price cutting probably isn't out of the question this holiday. 

 

Probably not quite the extreme last year, but with the way ps4 sales are drastically picking up, it's hard to predict how far they'll (microsoft) go. 

I could definitely see a halo 5 bundle with the mcc thrown in for free along with a year of xbl for $329. 

Cause lets face it, they're going up against a price cut, COD and star wars bundles.
