Forum threads are displayed both at the front page and through the Forum tab up there with various filtering options.

Do you go straight to the forums by clicking on the Forum tab and/or it's options, or do you check the availble threads at the front page exclusively and why?

I would like to know how people approach the forum here. :) Please participate! :D

I alternate between Hot Topics and VGChartz buddy at the front page.

Then I check sigs in that thread if anything. The Forum page is the last thing I navigate. For now anyway.

When you refer to Hot Topics, are you talking about Hot Topics from the front page?

The forum is also labeled as Hot Topics:

Yeah I'm referring to the front page. I'm aware of the link as well, but its just really quick to jump in from the front page imo.

I scan latest topics for anything interesting. (as well using the buddy for checking any new posts in threads I have posted in)

The Forum Hot Topics column at the right hand side of the main page and the VGCharz Buddy on the left side of the main page are the only things I check.

It's very rare for me to venture into the actual forum itself, and if I did it would only be to search for a specific topic that is no longer showing for me on the buddy or hot topics column.

I'm sure there's a lot of stuff I miss because of this, but I suppose it limits the amount of time I spend here, which is no bad thing.

I always go via "Latest Topics" (bookmarked) and I believe everyone who does not so is doing everyone else on this forum a disservice.

Hot topics (aka the front page) is the stupidest invention currently on the internet and should be abolished, along with the useless VGC buddy.



If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
