The remaster delivers graphics of this gen. It seems people are ignoring that minor detail.

I dont think anybody complained about the lack of 60 fps in Halo Anniversary because of the vastly improved graphics.

so does its campaign look as good as the order or bloodborne?

ITT we learn a game must look as good as The Order or Bloodborne to have 8th gen graphics.

Right, this guy won't lay off because he's upset I'm even saying Gears UE has impressive visuals worthy of 8th gen. Not every game needs to set a new benchmark.

have you even played the Order or Bloodborne? The Orders engine cant even calculate more than one wolf per time, Bloodborne is open World and has plenty of enemies who come in all kinds of lifeforms by the way and it has decent graphics. From a aestatics level sure the order looks better but at what cost?

I am talking about the order because i am sure you think its best looking videogame

This is now a debate of pushing the hardware technically versus most impressive visual assets.

Gears UE is impressive because it has nice looking assets, its 1080p, and can handle a fairly large number of characters models in a fire fight. It has a some rough spots and other spots that look stunning. The polished presentation pushing 60 fps during multiplayer is nice as well.

Something like The Order is generally doing less but the assets look amazing, almost like you're playing a cinematic. That's a similar reason Ryse was given so much praise. That game had impressive looking assets and put many character models out at once.

In the past I argued Halo 4 is one of the most technically impressive games of the 7th gen but Naughty Dog games have better looking assets.

Perhaps you appreciate Bloodborne for everything its pushing on the hardware. But when we talk best graphics, thats more about how detailed the characters and environments are.

Personally I feel Batman:AK is the best looking game of the gen thus far. That's an open world game with very high quality visuals.

Ryse lacks any segnicinat particle effects imo or other next gen effects. Bloodborne has impressive assets it has bumb mapping everywhere, something i am missing in most games this gen.

no you said UE looks better than Bloodborne

30 fps only.... no thx.. and after watching comparison video i think x360 look more better! fell more natural!

Well, if you want 1080p/60fps and the old x360-look... there is still the PC-option available (the PC-version of 2007).

Should run fine even on older middle class PCs or actual entry-level PCs... with my GTX970 it runs even in 4K (3840x2160) with solid 60 fps.

That was later into the discussion. You were being a nuisance even before you dragged Bloodborne into the discussion.

Gears UE is a nice looking game and I hope the other games get visual overhauls as well.

Sorry, Im not that impressed by Bloodborne. It looks fine though. All the games we're talking about are a great improvment over last gen.

30 fps for single player and 60 fps for multiplayer is a good compromise if we're talking about current gen games but not last gen. That would be an embarrassment for a remastered game.

Bullshit, youre ignoring this remaster looks better than many 8th gen games.

This isnt 7th gen graphics with relatively minor improvments. This is 8th gen quality graphics running at 1080p/30 fps. I played Gears 2 the other day and the visual disparity was somewhat jarring even though Gears 2 is still a great looking 7th gen game.

The Halo 2 remaster does a pretty good job at maintaining 60 fps. But its not as polished and sub 1080p.

LOL! What 8th gen games are you refering to?

The game hasn't aged well bruh. Just admit it.

Have you played it?

I'm on the underground level and I recently had my HDTV settings calibrated. Game looks great. A lot better than pretty much any cross gen game I played (ie: The Evil Within or Resident Evil Revelations 2). Not quite on par with Arkham Knight or Sunset Overdrive. Not nearly as polished as The Order or Until Dawn.

It still looks good though. Better than pretty much anything I can think of from last gen. Not quite the mind blowing eighth gen experience I've been looking for since the gen began (only a handful of titles have delivered that) but still a damn fine looking game and a huge improvement (most of the time) over the original.

Bruh, youre just wrong on this one.

Gears 1 on the 360 is still a nice looking game. Especially because it has an interesting horror-ish theme. You simply need to see it and not via some video on YouTube.

Gears UE is a very nice visual overhaul, better than I anticipated. Again, its not a new benchmark in 8th gen graphics. Its simply more polished than the average 8th gen game.
