Forums - Sony Discussion - The Dream is dead: GT7 to be announced soon, to collaborate with Bugatti?

So I wanna share this little theory with everyone after posting it in the PS Nation, so if it turns out right I can gloat (if it turns out wrong, oh well anyone can make mistakes).

A couple days ago Bugatti has started teasing a new car and at this point it seems apparent that something is going on between Bugatti and GT as shown by this tweet:

and more importantly this picture they shared

Now the initial, boring thing to assume here would be that the new Bugatti will be part of Vision GT6, but there are 2 things that at least somewhat hint at this possibly being for the new GT.

1. Bugatti is not on the list of manufacturers participating in Vision Gran Turismo (Could this change? Of course, but would adding new companies to the list for GT6 now make sense? I'm not sure.): http://www.gran-turismo.com/us/products/gt6/vgt/

2. An announcement now would coincide with what Tachikoma said back in February:

Tachikoma updated her status:

Major PS4 Gran Turismo reveal in the next six months.

Edit:

Apparently it's really just for Vision GT.

“With the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, we have not developed a fantasy product of the type which is normally seen in this category of the game,” explains Achim Anscheidt, head of the Bugatti design team. “We had the clear goal of developing a vehicle which could also be driven on a real race circuit if it left the virtual world. ‘Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo’ stands for authenticity.“

With the “Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo” virtual concept, Bugatti will be presenting the new form and design language developed by the brand to celebrate the next chapter in its history following the end of the Veyron era.

“Bugatti’s design DNA has reached a new stage in its evolution,” Anscheidt announces. “In view of the nature of the project, our concept car for Vision Gran Turismo will be exaggerated and performance-oriented. Even so, the progressive design language will give an impressive demonstration of the path to be taken by Bugatti design over the next few years.”

To be revealed next month in Frankfurt at the IAA, Sep. 17th to 27th.

Well its deff a valid prediction with some merit. I'm gonna say yes.

Is it just me or does the person in the car look awfully Japanese?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I believe the Paris Motor show is really close to the games week this year, and Bugatti is a French company....

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

He might be, just in different ways...he might be in France right now, with Bugatti starting this teasing campaign a couple days ago, for a reason *hint hint* ;P

They still operate out of France and they still identify as French. Just like how Chrysler is still considered American.

My fingers are crossed for a Vita port.
