Yeah...nope. For one,  PSNow uses motherboards that house 8 modified PS3 type systems each, but they aren't PS3s. Secondly, you aren't renting the sytem itself. You don't have access to anything but the software that's being streamed to you. That would be like saying you are using an N64 because you are playing Super Mario 64 on your PC using an emulator.


They're custom made ps3s nonethless. There is many ps3 models out there and custom ps3s, but they are still ps3s. And yes that is one way look at it in terms of renting, however I look at it as you're paying for time to use the "custom ps3" because you're still using it.

OK, tell sony to get rid of all those custom ps3s that are running the games and let me know how psnow works for you and yes, you still require a ps3 to play psnow games. Because again, you're basically renting a ps3 with psnow. And I never said you need to own a ps3. I just said " You still require a ps3 to play those games" which is true.


Nope, Sony requires tons of PS3 servers to stream the games to us, we require a compatible machine (TV, Blu-Ray player, Console) to play those games. Your argument is akin to saying "You require massive servers to browse Youtube", or "You need a PS4 to watch a Twitch stream of a PS4 game".

 

OT: These lists are pointless imo, but do whatever you want...

The PS4 beats every other console in the market in games released in 2015. Because lets be honest the XB1 has not received a single exclusive after Sunset Overdrive.

According to people on this site (and Microsoft), gears ultimate edition is a remake. I would count it as a remsater, but seeing Sony's "remasters" I guess remake will have to be the proper term and fable legends is still a new game. We are only arguing old games being counted with little to no changes.

FFVII is getting a remake. It would be a remake if they were actually making the game for the Xbox One from the ground up, otherwise, it's a remaster.

Last comment because this is getting repetive. We still require a ps3 to play psnow games or else Sony can't stream the psnow games. We require all these companies to meet certain demands and requirements to provide us a service like youtube. Sure we don't need to own the said console or w/e the requirements may be, but we still require them in some form or way (wether ourselves or a company providing it). Require does not mean to own. It means need for a specific purpose. Last time I check we need a ps3(wether we own it or not) to play psnow games.
