Distant Worlds, or something like they did with Crisis Core. The remix is gonna be awesome regardless

They'll probably orchestrate it. Though the trailer using FFVII:AC music made me think of the possibility of including more of electronic music too.

Uematsu's FFVII OST is iconic, so I doubt they would want to change it much if at all. For Uematsu, its probably his most recognisable work so it will always hold a special place in his heart, and when you consider the hype and nostalgia behind the title Square Enix will do all they can to have his OST remain as intact as it can be.

One Winged Angel from Advent Children was pretty fucking rad too so I have full faith in Uematsu if they do decide to up the "Metal"

I don't have a problem with it. Look at Advent Children, they created some lovely updated versions of FF7's OST. Why would this be any different?

I wouldn't mind it. In fact, I loved Crisis Core's soundtrack. They'll probably include both the original and remastered one just like they did with FFX-HD.
