I also think that a year delay is not dictated by MS. I think the deal was to release both PC and PS4 versions in the spring together, but then Uncharted got delayed and now Square Enix made the call to make as much distance between two games as possible.

I don't mind waiting, three, six months or a year is the same thing, as long as I know that the game is coming.


Like I said before. Microsoft is probably publishing the PC version themsevlves. Square enix is making the PS4 version so it will take longer for PS4 version to come out.

Funny, I said it probably will be on the ps4 if you bother checking the thread. I just said it probably won't be a simple port. Which looks like it could be the case. Sorry your reading comprhension is terrible.

They didnt say it woudnt be a port, it will be the same version only with DLC likely, you said it should be remaked to be ported on PS4 , it will obviously not be the case, admit you were wrong at least

And that means PS4 owners will get the definitive edition, with all the DLCs included and probably an extra mission.

How do you know they aren't remaking the game for rise of the tomb raider ps4 edition? It would explain the 1 year delay. Remake? Are you for real? The 1 year delay is there because that's what MS paid for. Not even TR: DE was remade, they were just remasters or better ports  of the PC version. Actually they have been both, only the lightning system (and multiplayer, missing in the next title) has been rewritten:

Would make sense however. Ninja Gaiden sigma 2 was the same way (about a year difference) and so was tomb raider defenitive edition. Is it hard to believe that Square Enix won't make improvements on the ps4 version like extra content, make game on a newer engine, newer assets and redo a lot of things.  It won't look like a complete new game, but it will be different in many ways more than likely.

I don't care about the childish arguing that's ensued. I do care and no that I'll be playing Day 1. Fuck a year from now. This is one of my most anticipated games.

A game with extra content is not a remake. The game will only have all the DLC released, and maybe a little bonus content, but it's not enough to call it remake like you said, it is still  a port
