Being part of the console wars by releasing exclusive games is pretty much only profitable if the developer gets direct funding. So the only reason B3 would be Nintendo exclusive is if Nintendo funds it. Of course the only way B3 will ever be made is if one of the big 3 funds it, and given the situation with B2 that can really only be Nintendo. So, if it is made it will probably be Nintendo exclusive. However there is not much chance of Nitnendo putting money into B3. Maybe Atlus shouild kickstart it. |
I don't agree, B2 may have only sold 730k but then that's better then any game on the platform that isn't first party bar ZombiU and LCU not to mention it sold 730k at full price and not the bargain bin like the original and more then what action titles are selling now days, on the Wii U's userbase that's encouraging and seemed to help PG build a near second party relationship with Nintendo to the point that they've been entrusted with Star Fox.
As it goes PG delivered in the quality department as far as B2 goes and seeing as Nintendo is likely to not see any DMC game I'm willing to bet B3 will likely be pitched to Nintendo before anyone else and has a good chance of being given the green light after all if Project Zero keeps getting new games and sells far less then B3 has a good chance of happening. It probably highlights that these games are being made more so to diversify the library.
