There's no reason other than moneyhatting for 3rd party devs to make exclusive games. Every business has a single purpose, and that is to maximise profits. Being part of the console wars by releasing exclusive games is pretty much only profitable if the developer gets direct funding. So the only reason B3 would be Nintendo exclusive is if Nintendo funds it. Of course the only way B3 will ever be made is if one of the big 3 funds it, and given the situation with B2 that can really only be Nintendo.

So, if it is made it will probably be Nintendo exclusive. However there is not much chance of Nitnendo putting money into B3. Maybe Atlus shouild kickstart it.

I don't agree, B2 may have only sold 730k but then that's better then any game on the platform that isn't first party bar ZombiU and LCU not to mention it sold 730k at full price and not the bargain bin like the original and more then what action titles are selling now days, on the Wii U's userbase that's encouraging and seemed to help PG build a near second party relationship with Nintendo to the point that they've been entrusted with Star Fox.

As it goes PG delivered in the quality department as far as B2 goes and seeing as Nintendo is likely to not see any DMC game I'm willing to bet B3 will likely be pitched to Nintendo before anyone else and has a good chance of being given the green light after all if Project Zero keeps getting new games and sells far less then B3 has a good chance of happening. It probably highlights that these games are being made more so to diversify the library.

Obviously multiplatform would be best for everyone as long as it didn't skip the Nintendo platform or do a half assed job with ports.

Wouldnt ps4/xbo owners want to play the 2nd one first?
I am fine multiplatform but you guys are overestimating it.

That's not *entirely* true. There are other reasons one might make an exclusive game.

Any game that requires something that is only available on one console kind of has to be exclusive. For instance, games built around the wiimote, or around the Upad, or around Kinect. Besides which, there's also the factor of workload - it takes more time, more money, and more manpower to develop a title for multiple systems, and sometimes that time, money, and manpower is better spent elsewhere.

By the way, to anyone who is asserting that the game is selling poorly on Wii U... how easily you all forget. Bayonetta for PS3 sold about 800,000 units in its first year. The 360 version sold around 650,000 in its first year. Bayonetta 2 has sold 732,000, retail only, in about 9 months. So it's not like Bayonetta 2 is selling poorly by series standard. And it's got a reasonable chance to break 1 million in its lifetime. Not bad for a relatively niche title sequel on a different platform (as in, Nintendo rather than MS or Sony) to the original title.

Multiplatform for sure. Bayo 2 flopped on the Wii U.

Make it a Vita exclusive.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I want a remastered Bayonetta 1 & 2 collection for ps4 before a multiplat Bayonetta 3

no one on ps or xbox would buy it anyway

Ignore all of the business things that went on with Nintendo and Platinum.. and just think of the game. That game wouldn't have been as amazing as it is without the undeniable Nintendo "magic". I'd love to see a third one no matter what it comes out for.. I just hope it's as amazing as 2.

I'm not sure there will be a third one.
I have the first two and more or less like them, but none have sold really well.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
