Forums - Gaming Discussion - E3 spoilers... I'm done!

E3 is one of my very favorite parts of the year, thanks largely to the surprises.  But there has never been a year like this one, where game after game gets spoiled, and each time I think it's the last thing--until the next one comes a day later.  I think the latest 3DS spoiler is the last straw for me though.  I adore hanging out on forums and chatting about E3 while we all wait, but I think I'm going to have to go on media blackout for myself.  So (assuming I have the strength to stick to it), you won't be seeing me on here until after or at least during E3.

I'm less saying this here because I think you all care a ton whether or not I'm around, but more to open up the discussion:  Is all this stuff bugging you?  Are you tempted to avoid gaming sites as well until it's over?  Or does this just add to the fun?  I've seen people bring it up here and there on the specific news posts, but it would be fun to get a few different perspectives.

(And I'm getting off the computer straight away after that, I swear!)

Around the Network

Nothing significant has been spoiled, what has been spoiled would be filler on stage

Minus Front Mission.

I don't like it either, but in the end I still want to see gameplay so it doesn't take away all of the excitement personally.

Still though, not knowing is what makes E3 the event to look forward to every year. Instead you get a bunch of leakers looking to score brownie points because the leak something. Ah well, no point in complaining I guess. :/

I feel your pain! This year is so weird! I miss the days of having my mind blown at e3. Now everything is being announced weeks before. It saddens me :(

Right now I am fully expecting Pre-E3 to be ten times more exciting than E3 itself.

Around the Network

I find it odd that people wait for ONE day of excitement and overlook TWO weeks of excitement leading up to E3. It doesn't matter when a surprise hits, it's STILL a surprise.

The PS5 Exists.

yeah it's never fun to just see everything that was shown a couple of days before it is time as it ruins the hype build up!

Fallout 4 alone is enough to make me wish I'd stayed off the internet for the whole month.  It was one of the biggest things I was hoping would pop up at the show, and they went and completely spoiled the surprise.  Not only by revealing it early, but by revealing that they were about to reveal it a day before.  That's like...a double spoiler.

YEAH, i fucking hate spoilers... i want all of this insiders to just keep their mouths shut for 1 week more, let us be surprised!.

To be honest, the only thing I care about this e3 is what Starfox looks like and when Xenoblade X release date is. Everything else be being leaked doesn't concern me.
