there are also third party remasters. youre in complete denial if youre going to say that the ps4 doesnt have a shit ton of remasters. way more than it should

And now you're switching topics and talking about 3rd party games when you started this thread talking about Sony published games. You just said you would admit your wrongs but obviously you're not.

Nobody should be aiming this topic negatively at Sony as the shitty remasters are from third party that nobody asked for. Who the heck asked for Tomb Raider, DMC, Devil May Cry 4, Sleeping Dogs etc...There are some great third party remasters such as FFX and GTA5 but it's not Sony's doing. I'm all for remastering games but the least third parties can do is release their best games instead of mediocre titles that barely hit 1M copies sold last gen.

The problem comes from the name itself but its more a better port version to take advantage to new users that didnt bought the old console for whatever reason and decide to jump to the new hardware.  Obviously being called remastered is a marketing trick but its not different than pc games ported later to consoles or timed exclusive ported later.

You can disagree about the remaster but that doesn't mean that all gamers are with you.

I've played Uncharted long ago and I wanna recall those experiences again by buying the collection.

I personally hope for The Witcher 1 and 2 remaster/port too!

I wanna get my hands on Wild Hunt but I feel 'missing' if I haven't played the previous installment.

3rd parties do what they have to do to make money, I don't see why they shouldn't make remasters. It sells and helps them make more new entries. And I don't see why it would take time away from the usual development to make a remaster, at least I don't see the logic of it.

Third parties can do whatever they like, just nobody should be blaming Sony for these remaster because they're coming out for the PS4.  In fact alot of remasters are multiplatform the only third party game is FFX/FFX-2. Off the top of my head Sony only remastering 5 games: 3 uncharted, TLoU, and GoW3.  XB1 remastered 5 i think with the Halo games. I believe a new one just came out for download.  So the amount of 1st party remasters are fairly equal yet why's Sony getting more heat than XB1? The only Sony exclusive third party remaster out is FFX/FFX-2 and Ultra SF4

I think the real issue is that third parties are remastering games nobody care for where there are more titles that should get the remaster treatment.  Sony's bringing back their best and third parties should too.

Sony and MS are bringing alot of new games as well so people shouldn't think this gen is just a copy of last gen.

lol well im glad there are some like yourself that wants DMC4, we wouldn't want to think Capcom wasted its resources for nothing, but I doubt that was ever high in demand unlike Uncharted and Halo.  I just think remasters should be better selected and more deserving as it just seems third parties are throwing anything into a remaster.

dude he is talking about the ps4 library, not games published by sony. youre nitpicking so much that it is interfering with your ability to look at the conversation in context. like i said, if this is what youre going to do in this thread, just leave and dont come back. seriously man.
