You in yet Wooden?

Seem to be inviting lots of people recently, big invites frequently, hopefully bigger content updates come soon too.

Nope :( Rare hates me.

Right so Hove is the one likely to be working on Ubisoft game so that means they got 55 working on some game for Xbox and upping it up to 100 by this time next year. My thoughts would be either that they have been working on something for Xbox since Disney Infinity stopped which was well over a year ago now and they could have a game ready for a 2018 release. or that they have just set a project going and are staffing up over the next 12 months as development starts and moves along and that would be a lot further away maybe 2019/2020.

Yup, definitely seems like Hove = Ubisoft and Brighton = Microsoft (The only two partnerships announced so far).

What's weird is the Job Posting in Brighton stating that they would reveal the game soon, If it was Microsoft's It's either been pushed back or I guess......TGA's? Lol. They haven't revealed any game at all so far.

I can't see there been any game announcments from MS at TGA so I dunno where they would be revealing the game soon and their is also Sea of Thieves the latest content update video they still state early 2018 launch so in theory it shouldn't be all that long before we get a date for that as I'd like to think "early 2018" is Jan/Feb.

Whilst checking on the insider site I noticed that Rare currently has job postings for 18 positions, They were suposed to of started on working on a new IP back in early 2016 if I remember correctly and wasn't there also rumours of 2 smaller teams within rare working on projects along side Sea of Thieves. I really hope some of that is true and we get to see what else they have been up to.

I hope that people who signed up for "Technical Alpha" are really interested in the game. The total now is around 100k, if not more, and that's only the number of people who got accepted! We're not in the beta yet and we're seeing 100,000 or more signing up.

Like you, I expect this game to fail commercially unfortunately, but these numbers guve me a little hope.

Although we didn't see any indication of it, I expect to see Halo 6 trailer at TGA for a Holiday 2018 release.

I wonder just how many people voting for Super Lucky's Tale are actually going to buy it? I'm guessing very few xD

I voted for it as it's the only game I will be buying in November out of them really and well it's the price of £15 that makes it the reason I'm grabbing it and it will not get much lower if it does unlike the other big titles that are retailing at £45-50 and if last year is anything to go by they will be all dropping by 25-50% on Black friday or across the Christmas sales.

To list the order I would rate them for stuff I think I will eventually buy i'd go Super Lucky's Tale > L.A Noire > CoD WW2 > Sonic Forces

It's more to do with the price of the games for me as it's hard to justify £45 day one purchases when I have so much else in my backlog I could be on with. It's actually becoming a regular occurance for me these days of playing older games and buying very few games day one compared to last gen when I used to have every release I wanted pre-ordered and paying the full price on launch day.

Battlefront 2 campaign is my most anticipated game in November.

I will. I love platformers and Super Lucky's Tale looks like it will most definitely be at least good. Though I doubt that this game will be popular among Xbox owners so unfortunately I don't think it will sell well.

The interviews for the Titanfall 2 and Witcher 3 X enhancements are quite interesting and encouraging with both developers saying it's very easy to make a build for the X with Titanfall 2 saying it was only a matter of hours/days to do and there have been other devs that also said it was super easy and just a matter of days to optimise a game for the X.

I'm looking forward to Friday when the reviews hit and for DF to start dropping their analysis videos.

Introducing Xbox Quests for November 2017

Hello, fellow gamers! I know you enjoy being challenged and love winning awesome prizes, so I’m excited to announce Xbox Quests!

Xbox Quests is a fun new way to get rewarded for being an Xbox Live Gold member. Each month three new Quests will be posted in the Gold Membership Area, and Xbox One players who complete all three Quests are guaranteed to win a mystery prize. We’ll even be giving away a 55” Samsung 4K TV every month to one lucky winner.

There’s no need to register or sign-up, just head to the Gold Membership area on your Xbox One console to check out your Quests for the month. Not an Xbox Live Gold member? Subscribe to Xbox Live Gold and start winning today.

The Quests for November are…

  1. Log in to your Mixer app on Xbox One on five different days
  2. Increase your Gamerscore by 400 points
  3. Download two Games with Gold

After you complete your three Quests, you will receive your reward through the Xbox Message Center in the following month. Be sure to check out Quests often, as new ones will be posted each month.

Lovely idea.  I wish the rewards are Xbox Live credits though. People might not like this, but I hope they will use this to push people to play good, unpopular games.

- Complete Sunset Overdrive campaign.

- Spend 5 hours on Sea of Thieves multiplayer.

- Complete the first two chapters on XXX.

It should be a one game quest per month basis.

Maybe a $2 for everyone who complete the month's quests would be a win-win idea, for Microsoft and the gamers.
