People were laughing when Phil said X1 is their most successful console. I have no doubt it is their most profitable console indeed. I'm absolutely sure their software sales are much stronger than physical sales vgchartz is tracking.

XBO is doing fine but PS4 is just beasting which is still a problem for Xbox because, like with Lawbreakers, some devs simply say "I only support one system and that's the one which leads that much"

And that's from a dev who can probably only work on Lawbreakers with 70 people because of all the money he got from Gears and his Epic Games shares which were so much worth because of Gears. That dude should at least like Xbox to work with when he sits in his huge mansion with his Lamborghinis mostly because of Epic's success on XB.

I mean, I still don't understand Cliffy because many of his followers interested in Lawbreakers are obviously Xbox owners and it can't be that hard to bring it also to Xbox day one but it is like it is, many devs prefer PS4 not only because it's stronger but also because of the much bigger userbase and the gap widens extremely right now.

Japanese devs are another story but even some of them would probably support Xbox more if it would sell as good as PS4.

So, yeah, Xbox isn't doing bad but it could be still in a whole different world revenue and profit wise.

Lawbreakers looks nothing but yet another boring 1st person shooter. Not sure why anyone would play it over Overwatch, Halo etc. Whatever fans Cliffy got (me included) when he created Gears of War multiplayer by accident probably aren't too excited about Lawbreakers. Still I don't see a reason why he wouldn't want to port his game to X1. Either Sony paid for console exclusivity or Cliffy pissed off Microsoft by being Cliffy.

Sony is beasting alright and without a doubt Xbox has do revitalize hardware sales. But I still can't see many devs ditching a huge xbox user base.

It's not about Lawbreakers but the situation with many games. Lawbreakers was just an example because that is from someoen you could consider close to Xbox.

Also, just because you  don't care about it doesn't mean there wouldn't be some who do. I also don't know how anyone can think Crackdown is worth to play (with Saints Row, Just Cause and other games on the market) but it's obviously still great for those who want to play it.

People on Xbox interested in Lawbreakers don't get Lawbreakers but they would with a bigger userbase as long as Cliffy doesn't lie. I'm also sure it will still come to Xbox but at least not at release.

Terry Crews Character in Crackdown 3

Nicole Fawcette of Xbox's marketing team confirmed that the picture is from Crackdown 3's opening sequences.

While it looks impressive, I know from my hands on with the game at E3 2017 that, for the most part, Crackdown 3 won't be using choreographed cinematics such as its opening to deliver the story. The cut-scenes will take place in real time, as the antagonists access nearby billboards and screens to berate the player as you work to dismantle their crime network. Crackdown 3 is a game that doesn't want to take control away from the player, even when the baddies are delivering their vicious taunts.

@crissindahouse yeah I got your point. But is it a situation with many games? Outside Japanese games most noteworthy games are releasing on Xbox too I think. Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't follow gaming news that closely.

I wasn't saying nobody is interested in Lawbreakers. Obviously there would be people playing it. I know 1st person shooters are popular. Cliffy got his fans with a game that's very different and unique though and he also made many of his fans angry by trying to make Gears into something the community didn't want it to be.

edit. Gears fans don't seem to be too interested in Fortnite either. And that's a 3rd person game by Epic.

I didn't even know it existed until today, Did I just miss the hype/advertising for it or was there zero of it ?

I completely forgot about it at some point, but there are a lot of web ads at the moment.

I just watched a Fortnite gameplay trailer and it actually looks pretty damn good. That bootilicious chick is mesmerizing 😍 might have to buy this game if it gets good reviews.
