I played it a bit - I like it very much so far, but decided to press pause for now until I upgrade GPU.

Glad to hear that so many users are enjoying it! Can't wait to play it myself!

End of 2016 hardware sales:

Wii U: 15 million. PS4: 54 million. One: 30 million. 3DS: 64.8 million. PSVita: 15.2 million.

Played it for about six hours today and I'm very positive. Smooth gameplay, fast combat and amazing visuals. Haven't seen much of the story yet, but it seems interesting so far. Will not spoil it for anyone. Open world is vast and very rich and detailed. By far the best game I've played since Grand Theft Auto V back in september 2013. Very excited for what this game still holds, but I'm playing more hours tomorrow. If I was to rate it, I would rate it between 9 and 9,5 out of 10.

Overall it seems as though opinions and impressions are incredibly positive; which is excellent news!

Out of interest, does anyone have the strategy guide? We're getting that in the coming weeks so curious to hear feedback on it.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I have the Prima Games strategy guide which comes free with the game if you buy it from Target this week (while supplies last...I got the last one at the store I went to).

I haven't taken a look at it though (since I haven't started the game yet, but will be starting soon) but it promises the completion of every quest :P

Was going to pick it up early in the morning but was roped into working sooo I preordered it and now just waiting for to come in the mail.

Can I just ask, I was on the game for around three hours yesterday and I noticed the levelling up seems quite slow, do you actually get XP for killing enemies? Or is it just completing the quests that give XP? Also i found a notice board in a village which had 7 bits of paper to take, I gathered that each bit of paper was going to be a side quest so I took them all but I only actually got 3 side quests from taking those bits of paper, is this right?

2 more hours at work and my 10 hour shift is over and the witcher is waiting at home! So hyped! Never played the other two but reading through the novels and they're so epic! Can't wait to see the places in the books on the game!

The books? I was unaware that there were books! Glad you are enjoying them though; no doubt makes the wait even more difficult knowing what's to come.

this is nice to know, I might pick them up.

1. It has many hub worlds. Not open world as they described.
2. Controls awe awkward. Why do I hold o button instead of triangle. Getting over horse or stopping over a bush to get herbs is clunky. Rest of the controls are decent.
3. That said its a great game.
