I don't think the domination is associated with brand. 360 outsold PS3 handly in the US and had better holiday deals. That's why it always won. Despite PS4 generally outselling X1, last year MS had a price cut, insane bundle prices and made a huge effort to beat Sony, that was just releasing a TLOU:R bundle with average pricing. If Sony did the same deals that MS does, they would probably win the holidays simply because they have generally higher sales.

Of course, I don't think they will. I'm counting on them being a little more aggressive, but not on the same level that I expect MS to be. Sony has the habit to become lazy when they are winning and keep things on cruise speed, so they won't make a move unless they get a nice beating. Maybe that's their biggest flaw, when they down and oponent they never go for a killing blow.

For be correct, the pricedrop was only in the US, but XBO outsold PS4 even in UK. (by a little margin, and only in November, of course not even close with the US scenario...)

I think it's simply because there were no huge releases besides MKX, which could have pushed some hardware, but not much. Combine that with the fact that the Batman bundle is right around the corner and XBone still has the lower price. Regardless, it just barely lost to XBone this time around, and we're still talking the one region that is still very strong for XBone.

Everyone is saving up to buy a barebones console and a copy of Batman on top, instead of a copy of Batman and TLOU for free. (Everyone who follows the Amazon thread will now what i mean.) In seriousness, the PS4 with Bloodborne and TLOU from most places got replaced with the normal TLOU only bundle. That in many ways is a price increase for last month, so it is not suprising that people are waiting for the batman bundle instead.

We had Halo: MCC in November. Despite that, I think the UK also got the AC bundles, even if it wasn't with the insane US prices, but I'm not 100% sure on that info.

and yeah its prob just because of what others said,no other big titles to push it after bloodborne.

It will be interesting to see what batman bundles do or like i think carl said pages back, the witcher 3 and what it will do for either console
