But seriously though, yea the amiibo situation is lolz at best. Nintendo is basically like, we could make as much money or we could not, so lets not

I thought I had seen this before...its came out over a month ago. I disagreed with a lot of the things he said then and my opinion hasn't changed.

I believe that a lot of the hype around amiibo is due to the restricted supply. The restriction has increased demand and turned people into collectors.

Quite brilliant in my opinion

Anyways, I agree that amiibo collecting is pretty annoying, with preordering not guaranteeing you anything, stores getting little to no stock, and scalpers being straight up jerks in this whole situation.

I tried getting a Marth amiibo a couple days ago during the GameStop restock, but the fact that stores only got 1-2 Marth(s) prevented me from getting one in time.

This. Because of limited supply, each wave always sells out and there is a lot of demand. Great marketing scheme, but sure to annoy the consumers, like Francis for example.

I love Francis.

He does make a point. Nintendo should have more of these available so that more people could buy it. The demand is there, so Ninten should try to meet it better. Sure, this could be their plan, but it sort of seems like a missed opportunity to make more of a profit.

Luckily it`s not a bigger issue here than in the west, but it is still pretty bad... : (

Also, while he does make a point, why does his character have to sound like such a big baby about it... u_u; jeez...
