Exactly I don't understand why they didn't keep the standard 5 minutes like the do in for glory, that alone would improve the mode but to make it better they need to let players create their own 1v1 tournaments.

Pshaw, it only sucks for you guys because you only play in one limited way, but for me I've been loving finally being able to use customs online! It just opened up a whole new way to enjoy the game for me, as I used to not care about getting new moves and equipment, but now it's highly rewarding collecting them, creating new combos and playing the same old characters in new ways! And of course the battles involving them are uber fun and crazy as well, infact here's a few of mine!

I went from barely ever playing this game at all anymore to playing it almost everyday since the update so that's definitely saying something! Of course more 1v1 options and more options n rulesets in general would be nice (where's my Super Sudden Death mode!?), but this is still a great improvement from before. Perhaps just wishful thinking but it should be possible for them to add more to it later.

I'll be honest, I didn't know activision is still releasing guitar hero games, but apparently now you can sing so that's cool I guess.

Splatoon will be undergoing a bit of maintenance on Wednesday. That makes sense, given that the big update is scheduled to arrive on the same day.

Splatoon’s online functions will be down starting at 5:50 PM PT / 8:50 PM ET. Everything will return at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET. That’s probably when the update will launch!

I am surprised with the Dragon Quest XI announcement. Nintendo NX must be some kind of awesome.

I originally bought the Wii U as I wanted to play DQ X.  Never got a chance since it never came out here though... Hmm, still making me want an NX now where before it wasn't even on my possibility list.  I hope its specs are awesome... I truly do.  I'm not going to purchase a console that is going to be weaker than my phone in 6 months from its release, so... Hoping for the best!

Yeah echolocator didn't deserve a nerf I'm a little mad since I really like it and I use it a lot.

Thats pretty impressive sales for the Amiibos within 6-7 months. I guess lots of people bought the Splatoon Tripple pack as well.
