I enjoyed the movie but the first one was better.

The action was great but it felt like they tried to do too many things in one movie. Especially with the added backstory of the Twins. There's such a thing as too many superheroes. Hulk and Black Widow romance was a bore and Hawkeye's family was a bit unecessary (although I'll admit Hawkeye was pretty good).

Can any character utter more than one sentence? where is the dialogue? You don't want to go deeper with the script,that is fine, it's a cheesy movie about cheesy superheros for kids and people who don't want to watch anything serious after all. But what's up with the critical praise ?

CGI was crazy good. The technology is finally "there". But except for that, it's as good as the harshly criticized popcorn flicks. 4.5/10.

My quick thoughts on thebmovie with out going to crazy in Depth.

Positives:
- great action sequences
-some good humor
-new faces and secondary heroes make apperences
-entertaining
-hawkeye

-hulk buster fight

Now the cons..

- story had some plotholes and some serious far fetched write ins.
-ultron at times was silly
-even though i thought the humor was funny it was over done, even killing a few jokes.
-lackluster plot
-hulk and black widow romance
-movie dragged on.

I liked the movie and thought it entertaining but it wasnt better then the first avengers.

2.5/5 stars

Call me crazy but I absolutely loved I. Almost wish it was 30 mins longer to flush ou more of Ultron, Vision, etc. Incredible!!!!

Just wait for the unedited cut. It's supposedly like 6 hours or something.

It was. You could remove the romance altogether and you wouldn't lose anything. The Hulk would have still left because he felt he was a monster after being controlled and Black Widow would have still stayed with The Avengers.

Also, my other big gripe with it is that it made Widow into a weak character. She wasn't the badass we know and became a damsel in distress to be saved.

Yeah, Widow definitely seemed to show more of her emotional/soft side during the movie because of this.

I liked it but there were too many obvious cuts from the film that really pulled me away. Can't wait for the blu-ray with all the footage.

Good movie although I prefer the original. This one seemed that they tried to cram too much into a very small time frame and the end-result was a strange thing. Also, too many forced child jokes.

 

I also didn't like how this movie crap over everything I knew about The Avengers, but I'm getting used to Marvel pulling that one with its movies.
