Forums - Gaming Discussion - What is the most difficult genre for you in terms of difficulty?

For me it would be jrpgs

Every other genre I handle fine but one I get to games like KH and Ni No Kuni I die a lot.

Im also not very good at switching to defense then attack then magic then etc.

What is your hardest genre in terms of difficulty?

I die pretty quickly in classic SHMUPS like Gradius, so that would have to be the hardest genre for me.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

hack n slash probably i just dont get them and they are a pain in the ass ..

Horror, because I can't play them.

But in terms of difficultly, I'd say fighting games. Really hard for me to execute the combos correctly and timing when to block, dodge and what not..

Either fighters or RPGs. With fighters, I usually can't memorize the combos and with RPGs I never seem to level up enough and the game typically kicks my ass. It doesn't really help that I'm still fairly new to the genre, though.

Fighting games and hack and slash games (at a lesser extent)

Edit: when I say hack and slash games I'm referring to something like Devil May Cry, Bayonetta or Ninja Gaiden, not something like Warriors XD

FPS maybe. And mastery of RTS games like Starcraft II, 15 years ago i love it. But i didn't want to consume all my time micro managing all my units. Better to concentrate on a single character like in MOBAs.
