There are several games only announced for Japan so far that I believe will come to the west eventually (Rhythm Heaven, The Great Ace Attorney, Bravely Second, etc.) We'll probably see them at E3.

Of course, there have been many other games coming out but I guess they just don't fall under your personal taste (Codename STEAM, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Story of Seasons, Etrian Mystery Dungeon, Xeno 3D, etc.)

IPads and tablets are killing handhelds

Well third parties don't support it outside of Japan and much of that Japanese support isn't being brought over. Nintendo are stretched and putting more resources into the Wii U at the moment. Its not getting the shovelware that the DS got because that belongs to the mobile market now.

3DS is towards the end of its life now, if I recall correctly the DS didn't get a ton on new support after the DSi's launch?

Because Nintendo is really trying to support the Wii U to push sales..

We're starting to get pretty deep in the 3DS's life cycle, that's probably why.

What games on the DS did you like that aren't showing up enough on the 3DS? I'd sell my 3DS if only 3 games I liked were announced since then.

New handheld will probably get announced next year so thats probably why! I think there will be a couple for games announced for the 3ds this year and yea.. NX is most likely a handheld
