What a cock.

Honestly, the Wii U is at the end of its life, and with the next step already announced...

It should be clear that the Wii U is on its way out.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Guy Cocker, who is listed as the Video Games Expert at the BBC, is confident that Nintendo will abandon the Wii U fairly soon. Cocker was asked by the BBC what he thought about the delay of The Legend of Zelda on Wii U. He mentioned that this year’s Wii U release schedule looks completely barren compared to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 now, but he does appreciate that Nintendo doesn’t release the games until they’re confident they are ready. Here’s what he said.

“Zelda is Nintendo’s biggest franchise along with Mario, and the previous Zelda games have been some of the most revered and highest rated games in history.”

He says it’s good that Nintendo is taking its time: “As a gamer I kind of applaud the fact that Nintendo does take risks and put games back if they are not ready.”

But Guy admits the delay leaves the release schedule for Wii U games this year looking “completely barren – there’s a big hole which isn’t being filled like it is on Xbox One and PS4.”

Guy says: “The Wii U is a failure in terms of the eyes of investors and the market in general. It’s not sold anywhere near the amount of units the PS4 and Xbox One.

“Nintendo are repositioning the business so they can get bigger on mobile and bring its titles to mobile.

By way of announcing its next console already its kind of admitted the Wii U is a failure at this point. I think it will abandon the Wii U fairly soon.”

Excluding Japan for obvious reasons, wii u at least still outsells xbone in Germany and France...And probably to some other smaller european markets...

Iwata has confirmed me...This why he teased nx,you very ''expert''!

The reason why I announced ‘NX,’ which by the way, is not directly related to our alliance with DeNA, was because I wanted to avoid any misunderstandings such as, ‘Nintendo might have lost its passion for the dedicated game system business,’ and because I wanted many people to understand that Nintendo will continue its dedicated game system business with even stronger passion and motivation. I am sorry, but as I said during the press conference yesterday, we cannot make any further announcements about ‘NX’ until next year.

Guy "Cocker"?

You people are insulting, taking the mick out of the man because of his surname. Childish minds if there ever were some, just because he has dick.. I mean penis.. I mean cock in his name is no reason to think his advice is needless.

It is because I'm not sure anyone at the BBC is an expert in games, pretty sure if I applied for the job I'd get it based on the fact I play games.

Hmm, pie.

He's supposed to be a gaming expert, so I guess I will take his word for it!

The barren landscape that gives me Xenoblade X is the best i could ask.

I guess even newspapers host trolls these days. That name aswell...

No matter how we mock this guy things wont change. His statement is kinda pre mature but he is talking from "average gamers" perspective. Average gamers don't understand the situation and happey with Minecraft, COD and GTA with occasional exclusives.
