Maybe because that would expand their target demographic, bringing a bigger userbase and getting higher profits :/ More = better

I think one Mario Party is plenty. Wii U doesn't really need more.

You hit the nail on the head just now. Him and kero have 1 thing in common besides being sony fans, if nintendo were seen doing something good they would downplay it by bringing sony into the mix somehow. In his case he tries to compare Vita to Wii U or bring down Wii U at any moment. There was one point in time he kept making the same thread over and over again just changing the title and switching around words just downplaying nintendo. So I'm pretty sure your first question answers it all.

True Nintendo fanatics wouldn't want to have to buy alternative consoles just to get their hands on third party. They want Nintendo create a spread where it can be easier get the games they desire, but Nintendo is selfish and only does what they want.
