Forums - Gaming Discussion - So, I got a PS4.

I feel your pain OP, but luckily, mine was gift. I sometimes feel bad because my parents mainly see me gaming on my PS3, so I just turn on the PS4 for Netflix. I agree with you on the UI; it's a mess and a little time consuming to find stuff you're looking for, and I also don't like that it displays your name instead of your PSN ID on the what's new/social section. Don't really mind the social stuff, but I would like a notification of when someone signs in if Sony is pushing the social thing.

I do, however, like that you can download/install games while watching Netflix and even while playing games. The downloads pause on the PS3 while you're on Netflix. Also like that the PSN store isn't a sluggish mess unlike the PS3's.

As for the library, there's not really much that interests me; the only games that do interest me are PS3 games. Hoping that Final Fantasy and Batman can provided me with some PS4 gaming, but as of right now, I'm not really impressed.

In this case, gaming is no longer for you. May you should take up rock climbing, Mix martial arts, or some kind of activities other than gaming that will give you a challenge. I took up Mix Martials arts because i wanted to give myself a challenge but at the same time I still enjoy gaming. I suggest take up mix martial arts. Nothing give you a better incentive to get better than get your butt pummelled after a match.

sorry to hear you're not enjoying your system, but don't you find just a littler ridiculous to expect such a graphical jump from cross gen games?

I'd suggest to try some exclusives; Infamous, Killzone, Driveclub, The Order 1886, Transistor, Warframe(it's free)
or a Gen exclusive like Assassin's Creed Unity(expect alot of updates though)

So, you got PS3 remasters and they look/feel like PS3 games? Really?

Come again when you get Killzone, The Order, Driveclub or any other game exclusive to this gen. The only "PS3" port that looks improved is Metro, but that's because the PC version was almost a gen ahead of the PS3 version.
