Anor Londo in Dark Souls.

Scaling the rooftop was annoying, and the boss was brutal.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Water Levels, in every game

I want to second this.

Actually, to expand upon this.

Water in 2D Mario? Lame.

Water in 3D Mario? Annoying.

Water in Zelda? Super Shitty.

Water in Monster Hunter 3? The WORST.

Water in Sonic? Ugh.

Water in DK Country? THE WORST.

Water is only nice when it is an aesthetic element.

QFT.

Water slows you down, hinders your movement, changes control scheme and makes you more susceptible to enemies.

Ice or nothing.  If water, replace with ice.  Challenging movement, but also fast.

Ice bucket challenge to prevent water cancer.

Lube Me Up

Tubular in Mario World! Fuck that fucking level.

Rainbow Valley in Roller Coaster Tycoon.

Crazy how hard it can be to build roller coasters when you can't cut down trees. Freaking environmentalists. It does make the improvised roller coasters that much cooler, though....

The second last mission in Halo 3 called Cortana.
