You managed to find an extremely obscure article on the matter, you made one sided remarks taking Pewd's position out of contenxt, you refuse to aknowledge the gamasutra article which calls your biased bs. You are doing this forum a disservice.

Talking nonsense? Her comment doesn't even relate to the content in that video.
I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

So before we comment, according to you, we should read the OP, read everything else in this thread, read Pewdiepie's blog, and watch a video made by Boogie. Anything else I'm missing?

While I do think Nintendo do have the right to do this. I wouldn't say that the situation is the same as uploading music and movies. With music and movies if you upload them you aren't doing anything yourself you are just copy pasting. While in games you are playing the game, you are manipulating the characters. It's more comparable to remixing a song in my opinion.

So that doesn't mean you have to be rude, buddy.
And from what I've read he really didn't say anything that could be misconstrued. It was pretty straight forward.

Many we'll agree to that, but this is how we think. The business world doesn't work like that.
Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Doubt it makes much of a difference. Haters be haters.
Weird that the youtube vid shows up in your edited post, but not my quote of it.
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Pretty much spot-on. Granted, the "free advertising" angle is over-emphasized but that doesn't make it any less true. Totalbiscuit had a fairly well-reasoned video discussing in detail problems with it, and some of the fine-print needs work before anyone could reasonably think its a good deal.
As far as the idea itself goes, it's bad policy on its own, even worse if this becomes widely accepted.
I believe in honesty, civility, generosity, practicality, and impartiality.
