I myself no longer attend school, because I am an intelligent adult, and don't feel the need to describe things as "gay," and have the ability to reason and understand that things happen and exist outside of my personal experience.

I believe if more people on the internet weren't still in school, we would have far less flames and console wars, because they spring from the immaturity of high-schoolers after all is said and done. 

School children are the playstation generation. Older gentlement, and I'm painting in broad strokes here, and ladies are more prone to enjoy a broad range of experiences and tastes.

It might sound condecending to claim that "You'll understand when you get older," but there are tons of things you will understand then, and perpaps acceptance is one of them.

True, many I'm in highschool and alot of people think that Sony is the best right now despite the Wii is winning right now. They still think that ps3 will beat the Wii

If Nintendo makes it, it's going to have the best and the most hardcore games. For a true hardcore gamer, you must have it. IMO.

I would not play the wii if you gave it to me for free, its games are just ehhh not my cup of tee.


And i sure as hell don't see nin making a Halo God of War or Gran Turismo type game any time soon.

well, there is a lot i could say about this statement but i feel that (even though i wouldn't mean it as such) it would come across as trolling. or, defensive wii owners would follow up my post with words like "fail."

anyway, i'll keep it short. kart will be neither great nor hardcore. all signs point to the content of mario kart DS (sweet) but the execution of DD (ugggg). it will be a "bridge" game with little challange and will do even less to reward experienced gamers. fun, yes. hardcore/great, no.

also, i find your statement somewhat short sighted.

if you want to measure great hardcore titles from a reivews/consumer feedback/sales standpoint, then i think halo 3, uncharted, orange box, CoD4, Rachet and Clank, bioshock, gears of war, resistance, eldar scrolls 4, mass effect, Ghost recon, virtua fighter 5, Forza motorsport 2, Devil may cry 4, burnout paradise, skate, dead rising, project gothem racing 4, warhawk, etc are nothing to bat an eye at. 

hmm... on my side from what I hear from friends/family, or read online...Wii has the least amount of haters

Last year most hated the PS3, then it moved to the 360...I hardly ever hear anyone talk smack on the Wii, what can they say? Its too expensive? No games? RRoD? Theres not a lot of bad things you can say about the Wii...

The type of people who dont like the Wii, simply are not a fan of Casual Games

Honestly, on my side, I hardly know anyone that dislikes the Wii...but when it comes to hating the PS3 / 360 every single person I know can go off in a rant about it

Nintendo Wii appeals to more gamer both hardcores (minority) and casuals (majority).


With the XBox 360 March 14th European price cut being factored in there will be no difference between PS3 and XBox 360 console weekly sales figures. There will be a 15 000 weekly gap in PS3's favour in japan. But yeah Japanese gaming industry is in decline. The USA weekly console figures will be in XBox 360's favour over the PS3.
As for Nintendo Wii, without supply constraints it will outsell both the XBox 360 and PS3 consoles combined on a weekly basis world wide.

 1/ we are at VGChartz infested with plenty of Ninty's fans.

2/ Except these fans, hardcore just avoid to talk about the Wii. It is like they dont see them and dont want to talk about her.

3/ Usually, they talk about the Wii to bash the Wii, not to support it.
