The Pokémon anime. Seriously, it sucks. I already know people who watched it during this decade who are already experiencing burnout from how repetitive it is. And no matter what you do, it won't be serious or funny. Seriously, Ash is an idiot!

Yeah, I believe it was in the first season Pikachu beats a Geodude. I was officially done because I knew no other pokemon would really get any screen time.

Yeah agreed, after Johto league it felt to me way to played out and became an endless reset after Ash would always lose at the elite 4 event and then Pikachu cant beat a starter Pokemon? yeah right. He also passed up so many opportunities to get a legendary Pokemon, I'll never forget when it was teased on tv that Ash might capture an Articuno boo! When that was supposed to be his goal to "gotta catch em all" right?

Wait, think he did win the orange islands league.

Why should they change it? I'm sure that it gets kids interested in the world of Pokemon, and moves a ton of merchandising. If they want to get more mature audiences interested again, they should do it through the main games, not the anime or any other spin-off.

You can't say it's awesome but it's quite good and amusing!

However,it has lost the magic of the first three series(Pocket monsters,advanced generation,diamond & pearl)! :P

It is only repetitive if you have been watching the series for years and years, at which point you're expected to have moved on and been replaced by someone new to the series.

Its purpose is to draw new people to the video games, after all, not convince people to stay.

It fails at doing even that. Seriously, I asked lots of kids who Ash Ketchum is, and only 9 out of 50 knew. Ash is NOT attracting new people here in the Philippines. I mean, since is the Pokemon anime supposed to be one of those endless anime, you'd expect that the character wouldn't be an idiot. But he is, and it sucks!
