It fails at doing even that. Seriously, I asked lots of kids who Ash Ketchum is, and only 9 out of 50 knew. Ash is NOT attracting new people here in the Philippines. I mean, since is the Pokemon anime supposed to be one of those endless anime, you'd expect that the character wouldn't be an idiot. But he is, and it sucks!
