Not out in US until at least next week. In Europe, it got released alongside the New 3DS and NoE assisted them through the certification process

Without even commenting on Ironfall, most AAA studios - especially the really big third parties - are breeding grounds of inefficiency and thus most games have bloated budgets and teams.

Woah! That's a bad score. Maybe it will be like Knack though, bad score but deserving of a GOTY...

Knack only got a bad score because people were butthurt over its Mario-killer status. So I guess this is the Gears-killer.

Maybe. I seriously don't think most AAA games need that much staff if most are just working on DLC anyway.

That makes no sense lol

It was 3 A.M when I wrote that.

Bugger that score is woeful. Was kind of interestedin this game too..

Smaller teams=more of a genuine product. When a team is very small, you have a group of dedicated guys, living and breathing together to form one close, tight knit vision. What you get is something with heart and soul and usually, the pay off is a better game.

Huge teams can create a great product, but it's not often that they innovate like the smaller teams do.

I'd normally point to Japanese dev teams for this. There's a reason they can afford to sell games that don't even hit 50k copies, physically.
