MHF on the PSP is much , much bigger than FF . CC still cant reach in Japan 800 k , while MHF2 sold 1.65 million in Japan alone . IMO 500k is a pretty shure bet , G games are a bit more than just some extra edition , they nearly double the gameplay time ...

This isnt a re-release. It's a full expansion of the second game. You port your current character over and use him/her for more quests.
Completely different that the FF re-releases.
monster hunter appears to be the PSP's pokemon
it'll probably sell 400k +/-50k
I doubt it'll reach a million though
